in Photography is Travel is finnish amateur photographer. As amateur photographer I combine photography often with my other hobbies: travelling, outdoors, music and sports.
For me the photography provides different way of looking the world around you as you tend to look things differently when you look them through the lense. Small things and details get totally different meaning when looking the world around you with your camera.
For me the photography is also about inspiration: it’s not just about taking photographs, it’s also watching and getting inspired from the shots of others. The power of photograph can make you travel to the other side of the world, to past moments, to somebody else’s life and memories or even to the important moments of the world history.
Just seeing the perfect shot from another side of the world can inspire me so that I notice that one day I will travel there to see the place with my own eyes. And of course I will then try to create my own inspirational shot. The best thing in photography is that it’s about catching the moment - when you take the photograph you document the moment which is forever gone and two photos are never totally same.
